Born and raised in London Ontario , Taylor first found ceramics at a young age through the BealArt program. From there, Taylor received her bachelor degree in ceramics from Sheridan College in 2022. Taylor and her husband , Sean opened up The Pottery Hut in August 2024.

Taylor’s work is riddled with whimsical and spirited forms inspired by my resonation with ceramic vessels tied to eras passed. Her inspiration is drawn from extravagant function while walking the line between modern day society and past historian potters. Bringing in the new while simultaneously honouring the ones that came before.

Taylor’s work encompasses the concepts of maximalism by breaking the boundaries of time. She wishes to integrate fantasies and sound structures; to bind the imagination with the body. The tones in her pieces are a reflection of the colours we see when we are wide eyed and unconfined, like a child on the playground
